Emma & Kenley
We went to Montana over Labor Day for a wedding. Justin and Jody got married! While we were there Kenley lost her very FIRST tooth! It was quite traumatic. She was wiggling and wiggling and it was on the verge of falling out, she just would not leave it alone, so I pulled it out. I literally had to hold her down. She was screaming and I think most people thought that I was killing her. But we got it out. The tooth fairy did not come until we returned home...and then not until the second night. The tooth fairy was possibly a little too generous. That is what happens when Daddy is not home and the tooth fairy is confused and overly tired :/ Daddy called and said the tooth fairy is retarded. Bahahaha, the tooth fairy's feelings aren't hurt.
The weather was still pretty warm, chilly at night. We still had to wear jackets at night, that was comforting. Everybody wanted us to bring the cooler weather back and I don't think that pulled through.
The wedding was beautiful and after the ceremony the bride and groom jumped into the 60 degree water, they believe that the water temperature of 60 degrees is warm! Poor Kenley thought that was a near death experience. Kenley had a sleep over with her cousin Emma. they are 10 weeks apart. They had such fun together, absolutely precious.
Kindergarten went great last week. Picture day was on Thursday and Kenley studied the letter Oo. Her homework was a paper that called "All About Me" I had to fill it out about her. It talked about the things she liked to do and her pets and her family. She of course talked about cheer, playing with Spencer, and her dogs. She also had to explore the website for the reading program from her school. We, of course, were doing this at 11:30 at night on Monday night when we returned from the airport...Mom of the year....
It was a rough first 2 days of the week, but we made it!
Hope everybody has a great "short" week! Kenley and I are missing Garrett terribly and hope her hurries home with a fabulous elk!
