This week in Kindergarten and life

Kenley learned how to spell the word RED.
We got the results back from her reading assessment test and are very pleased with her results. She is well on her way according to her results.
Her homework this week was to trace her hands and describe on one hand things that hands do that are helpful and on the other list things that are hurtful to others. I was impressed at the things she came up with. She listed opening doors up for others, reaching things that were too tall, and giving hugs to our friends.
The letter of the week was Cc and she took a crab to school for show and tell. She borrowed it from Spencer, we are so blessed to have such wonderful neighbors! Our girls, Peyton, Spencer and Kenley will truly be bonded for life! Garrett and I absolutely adore Marty and Cindy! God was really looking out for us in the purchase of this home!
Friday night Spencer and Peyton spent the night. We went to the park in the golf cart. We went to see the turtles and played Connect 4, Operation, and Trouble. The girls finished it off with movies and all passed out in the play room.
I had a visit from Karrie Looney...2 Kellerman sisters 2 weekends in a row is so divine! I'm so happy when I get to see them! I couldn't be anymore thrilled Jamie is back in TX.
I spent time with Somer this week. Blakely, her and I did a little daytime shopping.
I also got to see Cherie this afternoon when Kenley and I went to visit Summer before her first day of Kindergarten tomorrow.
I have seen all of mu closest friends within the last 2 weeks. I got to be in their presence and actually spend quality time with them. I have a loving husband, a beautiful daughter who teaches me more about myself than I probably ever wanted to know, and I am truly living the dream!
I hope you have a blessed week and a safe and happy holiday!
