We aren't having a competition at Disneyworld, it will be in Atlanta. Some very upset girls! Happy parents! I'm extremely happy because now we get to go to California and do Disneyland with Jamie and Casey!! So much better for us!

Photos of Peyton, Spencer & Kenley at Zoo.
The Photo Wall, thanks to Garrett!
The decorations in our bedroom!

It continues

Putting the house together continues...
Today we completed a huge task, cleaning out the garage. We even found a box with baking pans that never got unpacked! We found the cupcake pans!
We are experiencing new things in our life...we have a neighbor that is 4, Spencer and the girls want to be together all the time! We are constantly hearing, "can I go see Spencer" and it is only 50 ft. to Spencer's house. They spent the day at the zoo while Garrett and I cleaned out the garage. They were both crying for each other by 6:30 and had only been away from each other for an hour. I never know when to draw the line to not annoy the neighbors and neither does Cindy. We are negotiating this! Ha! So cute those two! The one who doesn't think their cute is Peyton, Spencer's 11 year old sister! She thinks they are ANNOYING!
So funny! Poor Peyton!
We still need a home office desk and we are on the hunt. We have been looking at consignment shops for the perfect unique one! That's a major piece a few other things are chaise lounges by the pool...a small piece by the landing on the upstairs. The playroom needs some decor, not looking forward to that. And a lot of stuff got put in closets upstairs that needs to be thrown OUT!!

Time Marches On...

More things keep appearing on walls...slowing but surely. We temporarily dumped all Kenley's toys in the 4th bedroom when we moved, they made it out and to the play room. The crosses all got hung. Kenley's closet has been cleaned out and organized, 3 boxes of trash and 1 huge donation box later...it was a LONG Friday!
I find myself at work worrying about things at the house and at the house worrying about work!! In the middle of all this you add in cheer practice, tumbling, privates, birthday parties, play dates, and time is no doubt marching on..
Kenley is struggling with staying in her room at night. There aren't house guests, her cousin Julie isn't here all the time, although I wish she was so I could leave to work super early! Her best friend Summer isn't with her every night, so she is adjusting to sleeping up there consistently. We have to get her out of our bed! She slept with us a lot when we were between houses...nobody sleeps well...so it's tough love right now...walking her straight back to her bed....
Kenley met her neighbor friend Spencer, she is 4, they seem to get along great!
Kenley got and inch and half taken off her hair last week!

Wedding Reception...house guests...firsts..

Kendra & Marks wedding reception in Houston was held in Houston this weekend! We celebrated with them for the final time for the marriage! I ask God to bless their union! As Garrett and I will be entering into our 8th year of marriage this year I realize what work marriage is, but what a joy it is to have a partner in this thing we call life! Somebody who is always on your page or who at least understands your page. Somebody you can trust and lay your head down with at night.
The wedding reception brought us our first house guests and our first dinner party at the new house! Justin, Garrett's cousin from Montana, and his girlfriend Jody spent the weekend with us and we had a blast! Kenley also had her friend Summer over all weekend! What a sweetie pie! We just love her like our own. I'm so blessed that God brought Cherie, Summer, and her little brother Jake and Curtis into our life. I couldn't make it through cheer without Cherie and she is certainly becoming one of my very dear friends and Kenley and Summer truly adore each other!
The pool got a lot of use and we are so happy to have it. At one point during the dinner party, Garrett took me into our room and gave me a big hug and said he loved the house! What a special feeling that we know we picked the right home to continue our journey as a family!
The wedding reception was wonderful. We got to see many friends and family and celebrate such a joyous occasion!
The drive from the new house to work has not been bad! So far so good! Hope everybody is enjoying the weather!
