Cole is confirmed! That is today's news! Garrett's bid is almost finished and he will be relieved of a lot of pressure. All of these things made for a busy busy week. We made it and we were so proud of Cole. He got all his questions right on Friday night and looked so handsome!

The house has been officially "Spring Cleaned" the garage is still hurting, but it will happen when the lake house is finished. We have a lot of things piling up for the permanent home at the lake house. That house is coming along beautifully. I have never understood what everybody has been talking about. I just could not imagine the transformation in my mind. I think that it may have something to do with not have a "construction" brain like my Benson counterparts. I got to see it last week and it is so awesome, I am chomping at the bit to return to weekends in Conroe.

I finished my Rookie year at the Rodeo. I am so blessed to be on Calf Scramble, it is one of the best ways to work with the kids that are supported by the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. I had a great time and made some great friends some of which will be with me forever. It was so exciting. I also inherited 6 children that will come back next year to show the Grand Champion heifer I know!!!!

I can officially announce that Kenley is totally potty trained. What a relief she was so easy, she basically decided to do it herself. I feel for parents that struggle with this skill, we were really lucky. Kenley turns 3 next week and she is so pumped! She knows...cake, presents, gifts...lol!

We are looking for a peaceful Spring and wish everybody all the blessings that this Holy Week may bring. In the midst of all your eggs, baskets, and bunnies remember the reason for the season and take a moment to give thanks for all your blessings even when you think there might not be any.

Garrett and Kenley had a Daddy bonding day (Cole was involved also!), Mommy rested preparing to kick some butt on Monday. They headed out to Lowe's to purchase a new pressure washer, drill, and exchange a sprinkler head. They returned and put the pressure washer together and used it, I then walked outside and asked Garrett if he got the right head...he paused and said "Kenley and I got distracted". This led me to ask how did you two get distracted at Lowe's? Apparently Kenley went with her pearl necklace, bracelet and her baby with no pants (she wanted to take in a very glamorous poodle purse, but he convinced her to leave it in the truck), all of this led to every person who passed by stopping to talk to Princess Kenley. Needless to say we still have the incorrect sprinkler head. He was also informed that he was not going the right way to the gas station. She knows the way to Grammy's, OSL, and the office and will tell you that you are not going the right way. She is such a riot!

The story of our lives continues...We have had such a rough couple of months. But we are so blessed to have Little Miss Kenley Benson. We thank God for her each and every day. I fall more and more in love with her each and every day and I know that Garrett does also. We lost Baby Benson #2 this week. I found out on Monday when I went in for my regular checkup to start my second trimester. We are strong and are believing that it was all for a reason and there was a purpose that God needed our angel in heaven even before we could be blessed by her presence. We know that she was met in heaven by a host of angels and her family. She has 4 Great-Grandfathers and even a Grandmother that happily received her. We thank you for all your prayers. Thank you for all the visits, food, thoughts, and flowers.
We are keeping our heads held high and knowing that we will make it through all of this.
